To help everyone save at home, Nest has introduced Thermostat E, a more affordable and simplistic smart thermostat for your home. The Thermostat E is ENERGY STAR® certified and offers you savings year-round. It’s energy-saving features have saved households an average of 10% to 12% on heating bills and 15% on cooling bills. With energy savings like this, the Nest Thermostat E can pay for itself in less than two years.
Some of the Thermostat E’s features are its ability to turn itself down when you leave your home, and learn your schedule to sync with other Nest products like the Nest Protect Smoke and Carbon Monoxide alarm. If the Nest Protect detects smoke it can tell your Nest Thermostat E to turn off the heat to prevent any issues from spreading throughout your home. The Thermostat E is simple to install, most people install theirs in 30 minutes or less. Nest also gives you the ability to change the temperature from your phone, laptop or smartwatch.
The Thermostat E is beautifully designed, and meant to blend seamlessly into its surroundings. With a smooth polycarbonate finish that feels a lot like ceramic, its soft glowing numbers seem to float in a dimmed room.
